It is still strange that this would only affect the pre-production sites that I prepare in my environment here, but never production sites. Going to Alt + View | Zoom | Reset fixed my problem. I appreciate your feedback on this problem. Un-checking the box 'Use hardware acceleration when available' did not help me. I installed the font-information 0.1 add-on, but the information this add-on provides is that the fonts for the pre-production and production environment are the same. Bonus perk - looks amazing on a big screen. We encourage you to pay the rights to the font creators, respect their work and effort. The letters are nicely spaced out, making the font easy to read and overall, it has a nice friendly vibe to it. We have indexed 840,000 fonts both commercial and free from all the major foundries big and small and were the only service around that can help you save money without compromising the quality of your work. If the production environment changes to these fonts, the website is no longer useable in Firefox. Its clean, looks good and it goes well with any kind of casual writing. I have made no changes to Firefox, but as of a couple of hours ago, the font issue bugs me tremendously. It is also strange that earlier today, the fonts looked fine in both environments (pre-production and production). In the production environment (apache on a Linux machine), the fonts look fine (both using Firefox). They are smaller and appear squished, almost unreadable. Interestingly in my pre-production environment (apache on a windows 7 workstation) the fonts are messed up.
